On the Healthiness of Disease: Part 1, Species Healthiness

Imagine… What if we could eliminate ALL diseases?

Would we be healthier?

Can a disease be healthy? The word disease has many meanings. We often think of disease as caused by an infectious agent, a narrow view.

Most disease causes of death are non-infectious. Continue reading

When is COVID-19 Cured?

To cure a case of COVID-19,

we need a comprehensive definition of the COVID-19,

and a complementary definition of cure covering all aspects and all cases.

Neither exists today. COVID-19 is incurable.” – opening paragraph of COVID-19 from Causes to Cures.

COVID-19 is not Defined

COVID-19 is poorly defined. How bad is it? COVID-19, the disease, is defined to be diagnosed by a medical professional, not to be cured. Continue reading

COVID-19: I thought it would be Easy

SARS-CoV-2 has been cracked. There’s one small problem. We haven’t accepted what we know, what we understand. Why not?

Curing COVID-19: How Hard Can It Be?

Yesterday, I noted that even though 15.5 million people have recovered from COVID, there are no official numbers of people cured. How can that be, is it really so hard to cure COVID, or are we missing something? This diagram shows the potential stages of COVID taken from the book: COVID-19 from Causes to Cures.

A SARS-CoV-2 infection can range from asymptomatic (not a disease and therefore not shown in the above diagram) to a minor infection, to a disease causing injuries that need to be healed, to a stage where the patient is unable to heal without external – usually medical attention – to causing disabilities and possibly death. Let’s look at each stage. Continue reading
