CURE Quote
The term “cure” is bandied about frequently when news reports of cancer treatments appear. A cure would mean a complete removal of the cancer. A “cure” is extremely unlikely, for reasons discussed in this book. Cancer specialists look for therapies that will slow or hold back malignancies. Currently it is generally accepted that the best that can be hoped for in the short run is a truce with cancer, similar to the AIDS/HIV situation.
