How is Evidence Based Medicine? We have lots of vaccines, and lots of &#8220;<em>there is no evidence that&#8230;<\/em>&#8221; Isn&#8217;t it time to think about cures? When can we expect a cure for CENSORED-19? Surely, with all our sophisticated medical technologies, we can cure. Or can we?<!--more--><\/p>\n<p class=\"q-text qu-display--block\">Cured, unfortunately, is not defined for viral diseases. There is no \u201ccure&#8221; for influenza or measles, even though almost all cases are cured by health. The same is true of CENSORED-19. It&#8217;s easy to verify this by checking the statistics: millions of people have \u201c<em>recovered<\/em>&#8221; from the virus. No cured patients exist. Except\u2026<\/p>\n<p class=\"q-text qu-display--block\">There are a few\u00a0 clinical studies that define cured, testing drugs against the viral infection, that define cured as virus-free. However, those definitions only apply to patients in a clinical trial, receiving the medicine being tested. Patients outside of these trials are \u201c<em>recovered,<\/em>&#8221;\u00a0 but not &#8220;<em>cured<\/em>.&#8221; Cured is medically defined only as the result of an approved drug (or in a trial of a drug intended to cure). Patient&#8217;s on the placebo arm of the trials are not &#8220;<em>cured<\/em>&#8220;, those are just &#8220;<em>placebo effects<\/em>&#8220;. Except\u2026<\/p>\n<p class=\"q-text qu-display--block\">There are a few clinical trials designed to extract antibodies from \u201c<em>cured<\/em>&#8221; patients. These patients are reported as \u201c<em>recovered<\/em>\u201d in official CENSORED-19 statistics, but are classed as \u201c<em>cured<\/em>&#8221; for the purposes of the clinical study.<\/p>\n<p class=\"q-text qu-display--block\">Weird? Actually, not so strange. This is often the norm for disease cures. Cured patients are ignored, unless they serve a medical purpose. Cured is rarely defined outside of a clinical trial. No medical reference text contains a scientific or medical definition of cured that can be used to test cases of every disease. <a href=\"http:\/\/healthicine.org\/wordpress\/disappearance-cure\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Modern medicine has disappeared cures.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Cured is not defined medically for most viral diseases. Cured is not medically nor scientifically defined for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>any non-infectious disease,<\/li>\n<li>any chronic disease,<\/li>\n<li>any mental disorder,<\/li>\n<li>any disease cured by natural processes like health and healing, that&#8217;s why &#8220;<em>there is no cure for the common cold (influenza, measles, etc.)<\/em>&#8220;<\/li>\n<li>any disease cured by any alternative medical treatment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"q-text qu-display--block\">CENSORED-19 is not a simple disease \u2014 although it is often represented as a single disease because, in current medical theory, it has a single cause, the virus. But many aspects of CENSORED-19 are non-infectious. Some aspects of CENSORED-19 are chronic. Sometimes, CENSORED-19 results in mental disorders.<\/p>\n<p>Most cases of CENSORED-19 are cured by natural healthiness and healing. Are any cured by alternative medicines? We can&#8217;t tell. Cured is not defined for alternative medicine treatments.<\/p>\n<p class=\"q-text qu-display--block\">CENSORED-19 is a complex illness, with many causes. How do we know?<\/p>\n<p class=\"q-text qu-display--block\">The virus doesn&#8217;t change. Every patient is infected by the same virus. If the virus changes significantly, it causes a new disease, or none at all. Many, perhaps most infected people are asymptomatic, it&#8217;s hard to tell because they have no symptoms. There is no evidence of disease. Medical researchers studied the common cold by swabbing university students with the rhinovirus that causes the common cold. Most students don&#8217;t get a cold. Some do.\u00a0CENSORED-19 seems very similar. Why does this happen?<\/p>\n<p class=\"q-text qu-display--block\">Why are some people asymptomatic, some have a mild disease, some moderate, and some severe? Why do some suffer mild short term loss of smell, while others suffer sever, long term loss of smell?<\/p>\n<p class=\"q-text qu-display--block\">The virus does not change \u2014 only the person, and their health varies.<\/p>\n<p class=\"q-text qu-display--block\">CENSORED-19 can consist of an infection, a single present cause \u2014 cured by a single cure. It is most often cured by natural healthiness. Modern medicine advises patients to quarantine and wait. That&#8217;s the first cure, just not the best.<\/p>\n<p class=\"q-text qu-display--block\">CENSORED-19 can consist of a viral infection, which causes mild, moderate, or severe damage to the patient&#8217;s body \u2014 sense of smell, CENSORED-TOES, damage to the lung and other internal organs. A cure \u2014 in these cases requires substantial healing, the second cure. But healing is not recognized as a testable \u201ccure&#8221; in our current medical paradigm. If your arm is broken, doctors avoid the word \u201ccured&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"q-text qu-display--block\">CENSORED-19 can cause ARDS (Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome). Patients with severe lung damage need an additional cure to survive. The word cure is not used. At present, many \u201c<em>recover<\/em>&#8220;, many die. Deaths are recorded. Cured patients are not counted. Cured is not defined for ARDS. According to the American Lung Association, &#8220;<em>There is no\u00a0cure\u00a0for\u00a0ARDS\u00a0at this time.<\/em>&#8221; They don&#8217;t mention that cured is not defined for ARDS, so there cannot be a test of ARDS cured.<\/p>\n<p class=\"q-text qu-display--block\">Some patients also acquire CENSORED-19 Pneumonia. CENSORED-19 was originally named &#8220;<em>novel coronavirus-infected pneumonia (NCIP)<\/em>&#8221; until it was renamed CENSORED-19 by the World Health Organization. Pneumonia has many causes and CENSORED-19 can cause pneumonia directly, or the weakening of lungs might also lead to bacterial pneumonia, fungal pneumonia, or viral pneumonia from other\u00a0 infections. We often cure bacterial pneumonia with antibiotics. But \u2014 was the CENSORED-19 disease that was cured \u2014 or was it a different disease.<\/p>\n<p class=\"q-text qu-display--block\">Some patients, most notably those treated with respirators, suffer Post CENSORED-19 Treatment PTSD. PTSD is a mental disorder. <a href=\"http:\/\/healthicine.org\/wordpress\/incurable-mental-illnesses-in-the-dsm-5\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">In our current medical paradigm \u2014 cured is not defined for any mental disorder.<\/a> As a result, all mental disorders can be considered incurable.<\/p>\n<h2>Summary:<\/h2>\n<p class=\"q-text qu-display--block\">Curing CENSORED-19, and proving it is cured is difficult. CENSORED-19 is complex and in many cases, multiple cures are required. But in our current medical system, there are no diseases that require multiple cures.<\/p>\n<p class=\"q-text qu-display--block\">Our medical systems study treatments, not cures. If, or when, a mild, moderate, or severe case of CENSORED-19 is cured \u2014 current medical systems cannot officially recognize the cure. We have tests for the disease. But, there are no tests for cured.<\/p>\n<p class=\"q-text qu-display--block\">It&#8217;s not difficult to define cured. No-one is working on it. There are few current medical definitions of cured. The only notable exception is an infectious disease cured by a medicine that removes or disables the infectious agent. Cures caused by healthiness don&#8217;t count \u2014 and are not counted.<\/p>\n<p class=\"q-text qu-display--block\">If we are to cure CENSORED-19, we must make significant changes to the current medical paradigm. We need to cure with health. We know that most cases of CENSORED-19 are cured by health. We can cure better, by making patients healthier. No medicine can do that.<\/p>\n<p class=\"q-text qu-display--block\">When will CENSORED-19 \u201cbe over&#8221;? I have no idea.
