What should everyone know about nutrition?

The most common misconception about nutrition is that we actually know a lot about nutrition.

Fact: no-one studies healthy nutrition and diet in a serious, scientific fashion.

We have lots of theories, lots of errors, lots of contradictions, but little true scientific testing in search of truth.

Virtually all of the scientific research into nutrition is ‘illness based’, not healthiness based. Continue reading

Community Killings: Why can’t Medicine Decipher Columbine and Sandy Hook.

If you are trying to learn about the school killings, and similar incidents, you will find nothing of use from the medical profession.  There are many guesses about mental illness, from depression to psychopathy, many observations about drug side effects and withdrawal symptoms – but no real answers. Are Your “Side Effects” Symptoms of Illness or Symptoms of Healthiness?

Our current medical paradigm is incomplete and insufficient. Clinical studies treat symptoms* as ‘bad’, to be ‘treated’ or minimized. This failure is at the core of many of the systemic medical problems we face today. It is a reason we have ‘given up’ trying to cure many chronic illnesses. It is also a reason we don’t test conventional nor alternative medicines adequately.

Most medical studies completely ignore symptoms of health and healing. All medications list ‘side effects’ on the packaging.  Every medicine has a design effect. Other effects are listed as ‘side effects’. Continue reading
