There’s a lot of talk, and lots of nonsense about the high costs of medical care (often called ‘health care’). There is a fundamentally simple problem: our current medical systems have many incentives to not cure. If we want to find cures, we need to build a system incentives to cure. How many incentives to not cure exist in our current system? The most obvious examples are those of corporations, both medical corporations and insurance corporations have strong incentives to not cure.
