\"CancerMAYBECured\"<\/a>What if we found a cure for cancer? Would we know? Would we recognize it? What if someone cured their cancer. Could we tell? Would we believe them?<\/p>\n

We don’t try to cure cancers. \u00a0We don’t try to cure cancer patients.<\/p>\n

All of today’s treatments for cancer are designed to ‘kill’ cancer cells, not to cure the cancer, not to cure the patient. When the rounds of a cancer therapy are\u00a0finished, the questions on everyone’s minds are\u00a0‘did we kill\u00a0them all?’ and ‘will they come back?’.<\/p>\n

No-one calls this a cure. \u00a0A patient might say “I’ve been cured”. But no doctor would dare to declare a cancer patient “cured”. We don’t count people who are ‘cured’ of their cancers.<\/p>\n

We don’t know how to recognize a patient whose cancer has been cured.<\/p>\n

What if we found a cure for cancer, and we gave it to some cancer patients, and their cancers went away. \u00a0Would we recognize it as a ‘cure’? In our current medical paradigm: No. We can’t tell when a patient is cured.<\/p>\n

What if the cancer cure was not a medicine? What if the cure for cancer was to improve the health of the patient, such that the body heals the cancer, and it goes away? Would we recognize it? No. We don’t know how to recognize a cancer cure.<\/p>\n

If we cure a bacterial or viral infection, we can wait a short time and re-test. \u00a0If the bacteria or virus is no longer present, the cure worked. \u00a0If someone has scurvy, and we feed them a diet of foods high in Vitamin C, and their scurvy goes away. \u00a0Once it goes away, they are cured. If the scurvy caused physical damage, that damage might heal over time, or it might never heal. But the scurvy is cured. \u00a0If someone is suffering from dehydration, or from water intoxication, we know how to cure them, and we can tell when the cure is complete.<\/p>\n

But cancer cells can develop anew in an unhealthy tissue, in an unhealthy body. When we try to kill a cancer, and it ‘returns’, we can’t tell if it was the same cancer, but we didn’t get it all, or if it is a new cancer that developed because the body is unhealthy, because the unhealthy body creates and encourages cancers. We blame ‘smoking’ and ‘microwave ovens’ and anything we our complex statistical models can link with cancer: eg. everything. But we don’t test the tissues where the cancer arises and grows. \u00a0Is it healthy? or unhealthy? We don’t take the time to learn which tissues are ‘cancer producing’. \u00a0We don’t study and don’t learn what specific\u00a0unhealthinesses create \u00a0cancers and encourage their growth.<\/p>\n

How can we tell if the tissue, or the body has been ‘healthed’, such that a new cancer will not arise? \u00a0Today, we simply cannot. \u00a0Our current techniques for treating cancer make no attempts to ‘health’ the patient, only to kill the cancer.<\/p>\n

If we encounter a cancer cure so effectively that the patient’s body attacks and removes\u00a0the cancer, and it makes the patient so healthy that no more cancers will arise – we won’t understand\u00a0it. We can’t see it. We won’t recognize it if we do see it. We have no tools to measure cancer cures. We only have tools that measure cancer kills.<\/p>\n

Some people claim to have ‘cured’ their cancers with health. \u00a0Are any of them right? We don’t know. \u00a0Are any of them ‘partly right’? \u00a0We can’t tell. We have no way to detect a cured patient, and no tools to measure a cured cancer.<\/p>\n

If we find a cure for cancer, we will never know.<\/p>\n

Have\u00a0we already found some\u00a0cures for cancer? Are some people already using these cures, and curing their cancers? \u00a0How can we tell? We can’t tell. Are some cancers easier to cure? Are some breast cancers easier to cure than other breast cancers? Are some thyroid cancers easier to cure than other thyroid cancers? Are some skin cancers easier to cure than some other skin cancers? We don’t know, because we don’t study cancer cures. We only study cancer kills.<\/p>\n

Until we change our cancer fighting strategy\u00a0to ‘health cancers’, we will\u00a0never learn to cure cancer. \u00a0Until then, if someone cures their cancer – we can\u00a0never know, we cannot understand.<\/p>\n

There are decades of statistics for cancer diagnoses, cancer treatments, and cancer deaths. There are statistics for cancer ‘survivors’. Ha! Everyone who has been diagnosed with a cancer and is still alive is a ‘survivor’. Statistics for cancer survivors tell us almost nothing.<\/p>\n

We have no statistics for cancers cured. No statistics for people who have cured their cancer, There are also no systems to count cancer cures; no forms to complete to document a cancer cure. Why? Because we have no doctor and no medical textbook that can identify a cancer cure in a patient. We have no tools, no techniques, no science, no that can tell us if a cancer, or a cancer patient, has been cured.<\/p>\n
